KID BALLET COURSE, AGES 8 - 10 ​ DATES: SUNDAYS, 12:30-12:15 10 weeks March 8 , 2026 - May 24, 2026 (no class April 5 & 12) Price: 1650:- ​Ages : 8 - 10 Classes are in Swedish. ​ *An account should be made in your child's name in our booking system. Take the next step in your child’s dance journey! Our Ballet Course for ages 8–10 builds naturally on the foundations introduced in the younger group, offering dancers a chance to deepen their technique, expand their movement vocabulary, and gain confidence in more structured ballet training. Guided by two students of the Royal Swedish Ballet School, the course provides expert yet age-appropriate instruction that supports both artistic expression and technical growth. A Natural Progression From the Younger Course — But Open to All Children who have taken our Ballet Kids Course (ages 5–7) will smoothly transition into this level, recognizing familiar exercises and terminology presented with greater complexity. However, no previous experience is required—new dancers are warmly welcomed and supported as they build their foundations at their own pace. WHAT TO EXPECT: Over the 10-week program, dancers will: * Strengthen posture, flexibility, and coordination * Learn foundational barre and centre exercises * Practice balance, alignment, and musical timing * Explore more detailed movement patterns and steps * Work on a longer, slightly more advanced piece of choreography The environment remains positive and encouraging, while introducing a higher level of structure and precision to help young dancers grow with confidence. WHY THIS LEVEL MATTERS: * Builds on early foundations with clear technical progression * Welcomes beginners while supporting returning dancers * Encourages independence and attention to detail * Introduces more structured routines while keeping creativity alive * Supports physical strength, musicality, and expressive movement WHAT TO WEAR: * Leggings, leotard, or a fitted T-shirt * Socks with no grip, or ballerina slippers Give your child the opportunity to develop their artistry—whether they’re continuing from our younger class or stepping into ballet for the very first time! **Course is for the Spring term between March - May.
