What is a Yoga Intensive Retreat?
You will immerse yourself in practicing Yoga 4-5 hours a day focusing on Pranayama, Meditation, MIA Yoga (Myofascial Integrated Alignment Vinyasa Yoga), Flexibility, Handstands, Inversions, Arm balances, as well as functional training. All classes are offered on the schedule and are not mandatory if you want to perhaps skip a certain class. This retreat is specifically catered so that you can deepen your yoga practice while having a luxury holiday with ample time for laying on the beach in between the activities. Classes are early in the morning and afternoon, so you can enjoy a cheeky drink in the hotel, or visit the town and local attractions.
What does a day look like?
Example Schedule:
6:45-7:45 Sunrise Pranayama & Meditation on the beach
8:00-9:30 MIA Yoga on the pier
9:30 Breakfast & free time
11:00-12:30 Workshop Module: 30 min Flexibility followed by - Handstands & Headstands, Arm balances, or Functional Training

14:00: Lunch
15:00-17:00 Excursion: Beach, Boat with snorkeling, Vineyard & winetasting

What is there to do in my free time?
In Hotel Puerto Juan Montiel, the beach is less than 50 meters away.
At an extra cost, you can enjoy the hotel's full spa with treatments, an indoor pool, a paddle court, CrossFit gym, bike rentals, scuba diving, kayaking, sailing, and more. There are tourist attractions like a castle by the sea and an old mining cave if you want to venture off and see the sights.
In the town of Aguilas, there are lots of shops, bars, and restaurants you can visit. If you speak Spanish, it is a plus!
What is Included?
You will be staying at a 4-star beachfront hotel with free access to the beach.
You will stay in a shared twin room either with sea views or a shared saloon.
3 buffet meals a day. Dietary preferences are available.
There will be 3 excursions. A remote Beach, Boat tour of the coast with snorkeling, and Vineyard visit with wine tasting.
4-5 hours a day with Yoga, Training, handstands, flexibility, pranayama, and meditation outdoors on the beach, on the dock by the sea, and in a fully equipped cross-fit box.
Welcome orientation with a glass of Cava.
