Handstand Camp

For those who are interested in learning how to handstand, or refine their handstand skills, we will start offering Handstand Camp on Saturdays at 10:30-12:00.

We will have strength drills and exercises, as well as apply different techniques on how to approach the handstand. We will also learn about anatomy and the muscles needed in achieving a handstand.

Mommy & Me

These classes are usually geared to accommodate babies aged six weeks to crawling. If there are no extenuating circumstances, your doctor will probably give you the ok to exercise six to eight weeks after you give birth and you’ll be ready to give postpartum yoga a try.

Here is a great chance to stretch and move the body with the company of your baby.

Acroyoga beginners

AcroYoga is a type of yoga that combines traditional Hatha or Vinyasa Flow yoga with acrobatics. 

Partner work is a key feature of AcroYoga, and the work with a partner helps to improve strength and balance as well as building trust. It may also incorporate elements of massage which can relieve stress.

A typical class may include a warmup, partner work, flowing sequences, inversions and Thai yoga massage.

Acroyoga intermediate/advanced

Have you tried Acroyoga and want to explore both the Solar and Lunar aspect of Acroyoga?

During 8 weeks we will play, learn and grow through the movement of yoga, acrobatics, and thai yoga massage with teachers Diana Bjälvenäs and Rikard Åsgård. We will work to create a solid foundation to be able to move into more intermediate acrobatic movements and washing machines, as well as diving deeper into therapeutics.

REQUIREMENTS
This course is not for beginners.
Participants will need to have an AcroYoga practice.
Base or Fly the following:
– Plank / Back plank
– Star
– Inside/Outside Star
– Foot to hand
– Shoulder stand

Creating a safe space to practice Acroyoga on your own. The jam is not class led, but more of an open space to practice.

En två timmar lång introkurs för dig som är ny för yogapraktiken och vill lära dig grunderna.

Vi pratar kort om etik och filosofi och gör sedan en fysisk praktik där vi går igenom de vanligaste grundpositionerna som ofta görs i Hatha, Vinyasa och Ashtanga-yoga. Vi bryter ner solhälsningen, ett par stående positioner och vridningar bland annat. Det finns även utrymme att ställa frågor.
